Give the guy a break. If Alan was dressed for the occasion and made it appear more formal, then I am sure LV would have reacted in a bit formal manner. I would be confused too.

I think Lucas was just star struck (in fact that's what he said in the interview on that other thread). I recall meeting Bill Rodgers a few years back at age 45 and could barely get a word out. It happens, Gay Man.

He looks fit. I think his arms look really skinny in the hallway, but then when he is in the room with LV he looks fit as hell.
HE is under those damn fluorescent lights, they make everyone look sick.
By the way, LV wasn't very appreciative of the trophy. Seemed kind of like an ass. You'd think he would at least look Webb in the eyes and thank him out loud.
What is with these kids and their inability to communicate and be polite?
Alan Webb is so talented its scary. Every American pro-runner knows that he is IT. He's not sick; he's so fit it's ridiculous and he knows it.
Ok, I will bite, he looks seriously skinny, for Alan. Skeleton with a condom pulled over

He didn't have to carry on a conversation with him, just say "Thank You." I don't care who you meet, you say "thank you" when someone hands you something nice.
If the president handed you an autograph, would you stare at the ground and mumble? No, you say "thank you" and look him in the eyes.
It should be a default.
I am with the gay bird on this one. He seemed way too blase.
You have to drill that stuff into your kids growing up, otherwise they are thankless little shits.
What's even more sick was LV's blatant rip-off of "the bieber" hair-do.
^Atleast he admitted in in the interview he thinks Bieber is a fail(basically).
It depends where you grow up. I tried to be nice to people where I live but most of them are miserbile bastards that don't give a shit what you say. This has made me a little gun shy when talking with people older than me.

I read the posts to this point then went back and watched the video. The kid was star struck and speechless. Alan F@#$^&( Webb walked into his school and gave him a major award. He seems to me like a nice young man. He looked joyful to me.
Alan looks GREAT. Elite guys can be that skinny. Expect for 3:48 or faster if he keeps that form.
Lukas looked like he didn't even recognise Webb. WTF. And was he just being interviewed by his classmates for no reason? Like it's an everyday thing at his celebrity life in HS? I don't mean that in a bad way, he looked reluctant. It's just weird.
It looked like LV said "thanks" when he shook Webb's hand. You couldn't hear him, and I'm no expert at reading lips, but it looked like "thanks" to me.

lmao, and females are any better?
Ever heard of annorexia?
That is what fit looks like
whoa, what's Lukas' problem? who did he think was going to bring him a trophy? El Guerrouj?
agree with the other poster who said he's ripped on for being to big, now he's too small. it's winter and AW doesn't do GTL so hence the pail look. Beyond that he looks LEAN. His biceps are noticeably smaller as have been his quads/thighs since going to Alberto.
I agree. He is healthy and lean. 3:30-3:31 is definitely in the cards this year.
He looks amazing.
This is like the 4th time he's been presented with a trophy out of nowhere in school. I don't think he's too surprised.
I'm pretty sure LV didn't know who that was handing him the trophy.
I'm pretty sure he know who the current american record holder is in the mile. Now, if Jim Ryun walked in he probably wouldn't know who he was or maybe he might. Many times the young athletes who excel at his level in high school are students of the sport but many times they also are not.
