Hodgie, were you a guest on Toni's radio show back in the day? I recall it was on 1510 am, but can't remember if it was WMEX back then.

For the rest, it was a Sat morning. You'd listen on the way to a race.

I disagree 100%. The race was awesome, but the commentary from Reavis was extremely annoying. I had to mute the sound at one point. "Run, run, run!" I just couldn't take it.

You'll never please everybody and the boring people will complain about something so awesome as that commentary. What's important is that the media recognize how great is was and encourage more of it.

I did call in to the show a number of times. Toni has an archive of tapes from those shows, many interviews where Toni webt for a run with the athlete and recorded the interview on the run.

I've listened to it 6-7 times now and I still think he said "footballs." Still an obvious testicular reference, but saying "footballs" seems a little more family-friendly (and arguably much funnier).
