Actually after running the course yesterday, there are only a few wet spots. But after this rain this morning that may change. Bottom of the 5k hill will be bad.

how was the course today? How is it generally?
a little wet.. the grass soaked up most of it though. I would say spongy with one or two moderately muddy spots. Nothing too bad.
Course wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be with all the rain past days. That course has a pretty good drainage system and there were no muddy/slick spots besides the 5k hill, but even then that is only for two strides. The footing was pretty unresponsive but that was to be expected running on spongey ground. Even after multiple races before mine I was never worried about my footing. There was hardly any mud on my legs at the finish. Side note. One of the cooler trophies I've gotten.
so, any surprises out of this meet?? Guess it's so early in the season it doesn't really matter what happened...
