Do you think the company Under Armour will ever tap into the serious runner/elite running market?

Get back to me when you wake up to the current reality of the company, clown. I see superstar athletes on tv all the time, none of them are wearing UA. It's pretty clear to those of us who don't work for UA.

As pointed out above, there are no truly elite football players with UA endorsements. Same goes in basketball and baseball. UA is fitness gear, not performance gear.

Read a basic history of the formation of the company and get back to me so you stop making a fool of yourself.

UnderArmour does quite well marketing their heat gear to the troops in the Middle East. Your tax dollars at work!!!

Don't work there, I've just met Kevin Plank a couple times and he seems like a good guy with a good head on his shoulders and also appreciate them being a big part of the Baltimore marathon.

If you don't see ANY pro athletes wearing UA gear in football or baseball then I don't know what games you're watching because its pretty prevalent. If you can't recognize that, then you're either legally blind or delusional.

Who? I see no current star players or consistent BCS bowl or Sweet Sixteen teams in there.

The international-level marathoner I mentioned on the "How fast can you run a mile?" thread, a guy with a 2:08 marathon PB, wears underarmour gear a lot of the time that he is training and in his free time.

the closest to an elite would be Ironman Triathlon winner (07?) Chris McCormack. I'd be very surprised if he's racing in the clunkers they have out on the market, and would most likely train in a lightweight and race in a flat made by UA. Why shoes of this type aren't in places like Running Warehouse or even on the market at large? Who knows.

Same here. When it dips really low with wind, I toss on one. I own two, both over 7 years old and just as good as I bought them. They were expensive, but held up extremely well.

Yes, has-beens or almost-theres. Even an all-star type or two. Yet not a single current SUPERSTAR athlete among them. Phelps? If not for sucking on a bong he'd be completely irrelevant in today's sports star landscape. No Mannings, no Pujols, nothing like them.
