I believe Davis is still going to be coached by Fox.

Heard from a recent graduate of the FM program that Davis has recently recovered from injury and joined the Stotan camp shortly following. The Alleghany article isn't quite factual to my knowledge, he's been working with the Arises, not Fox? From what I've been told, Jordan is pretty fit, may not be long untul he resurfaces.

This is definitely fact. Seen it and heard from a current FM runner, and I've recentlyspoken with both Bill and John about Davis. Last I heard he'sgone through some training changes with them, and if these changes help him the way they helped me, watch out for Jordan Davis in 2010 and beyond.

That's great, good luck to them. At the same time, it is so weird that John is included in all this, Bill is the coach.
also, in response to this and an advocate of the Aris method as well as one who benefitted from the direction of btoh Bill and John:

Well, this is the first time I have posted on here, and probably the first time I have been mentioned on Letsrun.
Just wanted to clear some things up.
Stotan Racing is alive and progressing rapidly. We are a Nike sponsored group, not individually sponsored by Nike. Big difference. The coaches, Bill and John Aris, have been incredibly supportive during my transition into the group. The article posted earlier had a few false statements. I ran for coach Fox while in undergraduate and graduate school. He is a great coach and a great person. I consider him a close and dear friend. Upon joining Stotan Racing, my coaching situation changed and I am now coached by Bill and John Aris. It has been a seamless transition. After recovering from some injuries, we are now in full swing and hoping to see the track soon! As far as my life goes, here it is: I work during the day. Meet Bill and John in the afternoon for practice...and then... wait... That's about it. simple running lifestyle.
hope this helps.
Take care

There's an email link with the Stotan link here. You could "talk" with Aris. Good luck- it's great to get something like this going in Upstate NY.
I think Fred Joslyn is joining.
He's been part of it for some time I think. Saw he won a few NYS USATF Niagara races recently, and i heard he ran away with a 5 mnile race in ridiculous winds in buffalo a few months back. hope he does well, hansons didnt seem to bring him far.
dominic luka who as some of you may remember was lopez lomong's teammate in high school and another ridiculously talented kid
don't the fm coaches have high school practice in the afternoon? do you all just train together? how do they make this work just wondering

Separate from what I know. I think training sometimes goes one group after the other and I think the adults also meet during the day too. Not sure if all live in the same town so doubt all the runs are together. Email them
Anyone know the standards to join the team?
Aris is a poseur who has co-opted the name Stotan and disgraces the memory of Percy Cerutty--he is clueless about what being a real Stotan is.
