I am very impressed with Pixler's run, having just watched the video.
Fenagle ran a very good race too.
The time was 8:01 at 1/2 way, and Pixler kept pushing the rest of the distance. She looks like she'd be a good marathoner with that style of running.
Pixler used to push the pace on Felnagle at the WA state meet, only to get passed. Not any more.
Great example you're setting for your athletes, if you have any. "I'm too damn lazy to do any research, someone do it for me".

Pixler lives and trains at sea level. It will be exciting to see what she will do with altitude training. Longer distance potential? Marathon?
