Some chains are quite good. I'll gladly eat in a chain restaurant, or stay in a chain hotel, when it's better than the independent ones available. It's very easy to find a person who doesn't like chains a priori, but it's more difficult to to have that bias supported by the quality of the next independent hotel or restaurant coming up on the road. I'd rather give my business to the next chain I see, not from bias against the little guy, but from finding that unless you know a town pretty well and know which independents to avoid, you're better off with the chain.

Dominos pizza tastes good to millions of people, including me. It's a good value too. So are many of the chains.

How would you know that it's better? Chain food is consistent, but it just isn't really good. It's just lazy to presume that you can't easily find a better independent option. This is the internet age, you're only ignorant if you're willfully so.

Domino's is, in my opinion, quite cheap and very good.

It became "obvious" when the OP subsequently posted it was, in between the time I hit reply to the poster I was replying to and when I sent my reply. I was responding to someone else anyway. Even so, I don't get your idea that a discussion, however good, is somehow ruined when the person who started the discussion states he did it just to start discussion, not because the topic was of interest to him.

Troll thread or not, I've decided to steer clear of the Domino's pizza. And a true troll never admits to it.

It is slightly better, which isn't saying much. I tried it, it arrived partially burnt and cold - I complained to the store via email, heard nothing back. I won't be ordering it again.

Did you order it online?

to be honest, I LOVE any pizza. theres few pizzas ive eaten with regret. although the new dominos doesn't compare to our local pizza places, its better than the previous, which was still pretty good IMO

Is the new Domino's better? Yes I guess it was better then the old version. Still not a big fan. As a rule I try to find the best local place. However, as far as chains go I still like Papa John's the best followed by Hungry Howie's, Pizza Hut, the new Domino's and Little Ceasar's.

Hungry Howie's? Is that a regional chain?

I thought it was good until it gave my husband and I food poisoning on vacation. We spent most of the night in the bathroom.

I guess Hungry Howie's is a regional chain. I used to think it was just a Michigan, Ohio, Great Lakes region type thing. However, I've also seen in Texas and they are all over Florida. Domino's and Little Ceasars started in the Detriot Metro area like Hungry Howie's so maybe it will expand nationwide.

As far as thread length goes, a while back someone posted a thread about the alleged "all-natural" Pizza Hut pizzas that were coming out last year that drug on for a while. So this isn't as amazing as you seem to think...

and minimum wage was about $3.00. Whats your point?
