The problem with pictures is that they can make anyone look like they're hammered, even if they are completely sober.

I saw Bob Costas in the Olympic Village . He is a weird looking little man, looked like he had size 6 shoes. I thought about pushing him to the ground and running away, but I bought a hotdog instead.
I see your point about setting a bad example to little girls, but I still would have done the same thing. That was awesome. They are Olympic champions, I would have stayed out on the ice as long as possible also. Lance drinks champagne across the finish line of the tour, sports players drink beer and champagne after a championship win WITH cameras in the lockers room, and presidents smoke cigars, how is that different from these girls doing it on the greatest day of their life? Oh wait, it's because they're girls isn't it?? Girls shouldn't do these kinds of things in public? It's Hockey! Get over it and enjoy your medal girls. It's a non story. Hailey said so too, she would know. When she thanked the Triple A midget boys (16 year old top-level) I thought that was cool. I know a few of them, she played last year (not this year) those ladies are slightly better than that level - maybe Junior B without the violence. No one mentions that.
Personally I don't think I have played hockey and not had a beer after. Like it is normal.

To the people complaining they should be holding a Molson instead of a Coors. Molson actually owns the right to Coors brewing. They hold a 51 percent share. Therefore Coors is now a Canadian beer.

What kind of message does this send to teenagers? Seriously. And I'm about a loose as it comes to partying in college and getting wild, but there is such a thing as knowing where and when to do it.
At the olympics, when you just won a gold medal and press is bound to be around, on the olympic facility. That to me is a lot of bad messages. A wild night on the town for the ladies, why not? A case of white trash beer on olympic ice, in uniform? Not so great.
Look for Phelps to crack a cold one in the pool and Bolt to sprawl out with Powell on the Olympic track with pack of Red Stripe in a couple years. I heard Kim Yu-Na had a bottle of Soju with some of the Korean Speed Skaters on the medal stand last night, sprawled out like it was a college party.
I believe the message is, "If you win a gold medal you are entitled to a few cold ones with your teammates."
