I really liked the video of rockclimbing that was linked above. Seems like a great idea. And there is a clock so it's a legitimate competition, not one of these BS sports that involve judging.

I don't think you even need a clock for climbing to be a legit competition. You just need a series of hard enough routes to weed out most of the competitors, followed by something extremely hard to distinguish between the top competitors. It would be like raising the bar in HJ and PV.

Baseball and softball were in the olympics- it was eliminated by the IOC recently.

baseball was an olympic sport. i believe it has been cancelled.

Kickball is the last of the legitimate amateur sports. It should be in the summer olympics.
