Hey there buddy, I was relpyling to this post:As a female masters runner, I've run PRs and placed Top 3 overall in races where the only prize was a medal, and in I've won cash in other races where I ran much slower times. It's the luck of the draw. Recently I ran a 33 flat for five miles and didn't even win a 40-49 age group award. Then in another race, I won cash for winning with a 21-minute 5k. I felt embarrassed and said to the male overall winner, who was beside me, "I ran really slow." His answer was, "All that matters is that you were the fastest today."If nobody faster showed up, this girl deserves her prize money.--------------------I was NOT replying directly to the OP. Female masters runner lady said "If nobody faster showed up, this girl deserves her prize money." Well, somebody faster did show up...and on top of that, the girl who took the money runs for some DIII school or something, I don't know if they're allowed to take prize money, but it seems like they shouldn't.

no sir, read the original post. It mentions the HS girl. You are wrong
