I'll bite. Which video replay did you look at? You sure as hell didn't look at all of them. There are a number of camera angles, and only one of them shows what looks like Rodriguez putting her hand out and shoving Burka. The other replays, with the camera at the front, clearly show Rodriguez on the inside of Burka HOLDING HER LINE, which she got fairly, and Burka trying to run to the inside of the lane following the curve. BURKA IS CUTTING OFF RODRIGUEZ. Rodriguez is putting out her hand and arm to steady herself after being cut off by Burka, and at no point does she shove, or even touch Burka. Burka then trips on herself, and shoves Rodriguez to the infield. 100% Burka's fault.

For USA was better Natalia's DQ (you get the bronze) but lots of you have seen that the decision was totally unfair. Natalia has been fighting for that for years and now...

Total f***ing bullshit by the IAAF. Natalia won fair and square despite being pushed off the track. Along with their decision to allow a man to compete in the women's 800m they are becoming joke of a sports governing body. Obama needs to nuke 'em fast.
I think it's really clear what happened here: Burka just left a big space, enough for Rodríguez to go through and then tried to close it, when she saw the Spanish athlete. In Spain we've got a very good 800m runner, whos allways having this kind of problems because he weights 15kg less (or even more) than the rest of the athletes. So when there is contact between them, he always "looses". Burka should be conscious about her own possibilities...
It's always been like this in athletics, people hit each other in races. At least for me, Natalia Rodriguez is a world champion.

The DQ was clearly the right call - anyone that says otherwise is either biased or stupid.
Burka was moving well and was quite smooth before Rodriguez got too close on the inside and ran into Burka's normal arm swing. 2 seperate angles showed clearly showed this. As soon as Rodriguez bumped into Burka's arm, it threw her off her balance and the rest is history.
It sucks that is happened but the call was right and had Rodriguez not made the poor decision she did, she would have been lucky to have finished top 4 because she would have had to slow down and swing wide.
Sucks for Burka.

What did Rowbury have to say about it? She probably had as good an angle as any, besides being biased toward receiving the bronze. I think she'd be honest in an interview, though.
There's nothing clear about that video, even from multiple angles. I've watched it a dozen times and still haven't made up my mind. The inside pass is always poor form, but it's hard to tell who initiated the contact that started the fall. I'd like to see a shot from the outside of the track, get a better look at their arms. Tough call either way.

look thoroughly at the first movie I posted as well, and you'll see how when the ethiopian FIRST twisted her trunk to the right, she did it by herself, rodriguez is too far away to even touch her, then the ethiopian slowed down and ran into rodriguez and then she fell down.

No I think he's talking about the part where Burka impedes both Jamal and Rodriquez with her arms, pushes Rodriquez into the infield and then falls down when both go by her.

Rodriguez didn't do it intentionally. She put her hand out to get balance and at least touch Burka. Rodriguez then ran at least one step inside the rail. The runner outside of Burka caused the problem, she ran a bit too tight and forced Burka towards Rodrguez, but again it didn't seem intentioanl. Poo happens is all I can say.
The forearm against the ribs as Rodriguez tried to squeeze by PRECEDED the fall. Then a push to the back (albeit to keep herself from falling) was the finishing touch.
The bottom line is there was contact, she fell, an official had to make a call (and I believe the correct one). Some of you guys make it sound like she pulled a "Suzy Favor".
I don't think you can make the call from that grainy video at that angle. Rodriguez's body is in the way of what presumably would have been their first contact.

if you are a 1500 meter runner you should know that there is going to by physical contact, which is legal to some extent (like this example), and there was lots of shoves during the whole race 3 times harder, if you weight 80 lbs and the wind touch you and you fall down its your own business, spend your time playing chess otherwise.
the spanish girl do not touch at all the ethiopian,she is exaushted at that time. and if anything, it would be the outside lane girl trying to push toward the infield the ethiopian and get away with it, then the spanish is affected and step on infield, I dont think its unfair to say its a normal episode in a 1500 metres run and of course legal, even less strong than it is usually seen when 200 metres are left. plus the spanis was clearly the winner of that race.
