The guy was 2nd in the US - 3rd in the Golden League is pretty good although admittedly no Kenyans in the house.

Are the men's HJ contested at Golden league meetings? I never see them get any airtime. Same goes to men's pole vault on most occasions.

That's because the women in both events are so much hotter and sell airtime.
This Universal Sports coverage is so sweet! The picture is really high resolution, the slow-mo replays are really cool, the announcers are great, and I like how they don't mute the noise of the stadium so we can hear the crowd and the stadium announcer and the general chaos.
Plus, this 3k is going to be epic.
