It's interesting that you chose the exact phrase (kangaroo court) that Marion Jones used during the BALCO investigation. I'm sure that's not a coincidence. :)

Jones said she would no longer participate in the organization's "kangaroo court" by answering questions in private.
"I will answer them in public in the light of day so the world can hear the questions, hear my responses, see the information and see for themselves that I am telling the truth," she said.

"The truth is my friend, and transparency my ally.".
Jones, who won three gold medals at the 2000 Olympics, complained that she has been unfairly tainted by allegations of drug use.
She noted that she has never failed a drug test.
"There exists no one who can truthfully testify I have used performance enhancing drugs because I never have," she said.
What Decker was definitely guilty of is being a whining cry baby - blaming Zola Budd for tripping her up when she clearly ran into the back of Zola without watching where she was going:
dont let this die.
The only way to clean up this mess of a sport is to completely bar anyone caught cheating. You want to dance? Pay the fiddler. Caught cheating at 40 and your records from your 20's are in the dumpster. USATF doesn't help in any way by putting this cheat into the Hall of Fame.

One more time, huh? Another class move for the BroJos.
Decker ran 2:02 something at 15 years of age. Was she cheating then? Name the others that ran that fast at such a young age. I assume that others who improved more than she did were definite cheaters...yes?
She was caught doping. It's as simple and sad as that. Others cheated as well - many got away with it and retired.
She kept going and got caught, same as Jacobs.

If you are going to post a youtube video, you might want to watch it first, which I am guessing you didn't if you think Mary CLEARLY ran into the back of Zola. I am not a Mary Decker fan and this has nothing to do with whether she doped or not, but it is pretty obvious that Zola was cutting off Mary. They were probably both somewhat at fault, but to say it was clearly Mary's fault is just false if you know how track rules work. Yes Mary was whiny and not well liked by a lot of people, but don't let your hatred get in the way of the obvious.
She was Oregon's poster child.
Does Slaney's argument that birth control in older women results in a higher-than-legal T/E ratio hold water?
Does anyone have any experience with this outside of this particular instance?
