The Concrete Runner to the rescue.
It's not necessary to do hills everyday. Do a couple easy days on the hills. Don't worry about pace. Just enjoy the hills and get strong. Replace a speed workout with a hill workout once a week. Don't worry about time. Focus on effort. Mix it up. Do some longer hills at 800 to 1 mile effort. The next week do some shorter, steeper hills at 200 to 400 efforts. I'm a marathon runner and when training for a course with downhills, it is helpful to run marathon pace on downhills once a week. Not faster because of the risk of injury.
And as always...keep it on the crete.
