I think that in general, men whose mothers are fat and have big boobs go for girls who are chubby. Men whose mothers are athletic and have smaller boobs go for women who have athletic builds. If you know what a guy's mom looks like, you can probably figure out what kind of girl he's attracted to.

I am a skinny runner girl but typically do not go for runners at ALL...
though the picture in your example was kinda gross, generally I like more muscular guys-not lifters, just beefier in general.
And a turn off is anyone who looks TOO into their bodies...and spends hours at the gym
ok so I spend maybe 8-14 hours a week running, its my hobby, I don't do it to be thin as a main goal, that is just an extra advantage. But someone who spends hours in the gym only to change the way they look, that tells me something about their personality that I do not find attractive.

I have dated both guys like that picture as well as skinny runner boys. I am thin to normal weight myself. BMI of about 20.
Both are different and I have found myself extremely attracted to different kinds of bodies. however when I was a bit younger I used to think I would only be with bigger guys, but now that I have had both I prefer thin guys because (this is so wrong) I want my kids to be active and healthy and thin and I want my husband to be the same. And generally those big guys just end up getting really fat.

Not sure if you knew it but there are alot more benefits to lifting than looks. The really ripped dudes generally are pretty fit guys and most of them eat a pretty clean diet. So looks may be what they are after but they're just as healthy as alot of distance runners in the end.
Pretty comparable to distance runners doing everything they can to race fast and getting alot of side benefits due to the lifestyle.
Seriously, what is attractive about some dufus trying to beef up his fatty muscles?? I would say I like the lean athletic type with the less grunting "mating calls"...
