Wrong, Ngeney ran stride and stride with him in his World Record mile the summer before...people were blinded by EL g's unbeatableness....when it was quite obvious there was Ngeney knocking on his door and he was capable of beating El G....in that world record he was actualy gaining when El G started to cruise in and then realized Ngeney was going to beat him and kicked it in.
Ngeny will have to get back on the sauce to get close to El G. After he won in Sydney, he stopped juicing, and stopped winning and running fast. The car accident story is just cover. You can bet the Kenyans will have someone gassed to the eyeballs for the 1500 final, never mind the 5 and 10. El G will have to fight team tactics, and teams of runners from E. Africa loaded up with drugs supplied by teams of crooked coaches, managers and doctors all hiding behind the veil of E. African legend coupled with political correctness that has the IAAF paralyzed at the moment.
