Assuming they play by NBA rules, they wouldn't be allowed to play zone and would have to avoid the 3 second violation. The fifth player will always be unguarded so I don't see how 4 players can pull it off against 5. Remember how Team USA did at the 2004 Olympics? That was 5-on-5.
The NBA has allowed zone play since 2001, with a few stipulations making it different from college. I think you're stuck in the last millenium...

The WNBA has to put the worst product on the court of any major sports league, male or female. The game just isn't entertaining, you can watch a WNBA game and literally wonder how these girls were varsity in high school. A great deal of them shoot bricks, rebounds are mishandled 80% of the time, and turnovers and offensive miscues are more common than points.
I wonder why women's basketball is so bad. Women's softball is entertaining, and women's soccer isn't terrible, at least the athletes are competent. Female endurance sports, like running and swimming are competitive and often produce excellent races.
I just don't know what the problem is.
The problem is you would not make any WNBA team. Next question.
