next time he runs infront of you you should bend him over and put it in his butt. that will make him stop.

I know how u feel man!!! Back in my country the wonderful nation of Ethiopia, whereever there are international races he always has to outkick me in the last lap! Damn his soul, he has condemned me to silver for life! Why must he always always put in a 53 second final lap at the end of a 10k???
extra effort is the key to success...

That is far from the post of the day. You sir, are an idiot.
Are u another one of my illegitimate sons?
Runners are the most boring group of people on the planet and this proves it.
Former classmates of Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods said the same things. Now they try to get their own kids to be like them.
This reminds me of the sleeeeeeeeeze.
it's psychological, he figures if you get used to losing to him in practice you wont even try to pass him in races. He's trying to establish a pecking order and his dominance over you. i would just keep this in mind and try to beat him when it counts. Besides, if you're the 800 guy shouldn't you be able to out kick him??
This wouldn't bother me at all. My experience is that people who have to do that are not good racers. You get him when it counts.

I agree with this statement.

Former classmates of Jordan/Woods were scholarship athletes and/or had pro potential, they were not running D3 at a "crappy school".

I agree. Use a relay baton. It'll scare him.
This is clearly a case of what we like to call "5-stepping".

Funny you should say that. Because on my college team, we called it "six-stepping"
He's just planning and waiting for the day that you guys have 'one too many' and decide to 'experiment'.
By continuing to put himself in the lead role, he's trying to lock in your place at the bottom.
It's too late to do anything about it now, just buck up and become the best damn power-bottom you can be!
back in my college days we would call it the "7 Step Shuffle". whoever was in the lead we used to give crap to, just hassling, nothing to serious, after a while no one wanted to lead, which lead to our runs becoming progressivly slower...
take turns without telling them
