In my former country we have an expression, Life is Dirt. I am not afraid to die it is natural. It is not a heaven, a personal relationship with a spirit, 37 virgins,rebirth or lasting contentment that assuages me. Just knowing that to live and then die is the natural path is enough. I discorporate plain and simple, to fear death is irrational.
Long enough to draw attention to myself and make a media spectacle out of something mundane.
If it was walking I could go for a few days probably. Running/jogging probably 18-24 hours max and then I'm sure a cramp of something would get me.

From my exercise science major I have learned that a typical person on the sidewalk has enough calories in their body to go 12 miles, and enough fat stored away to go 500 miles. That being said, it would be very hard to do that all at a fast speed, but at 4mph it's very possible. Actually, there is a book, but I forget the name something about a windy river, a woman was kidnapped by Indians or something like that and then her baby was taken from her. They were seperated and she walked 600 miles or something without food or water to get to her husband. When she got there she was barely skin and bones, but it shows what the will can achieve with what the body has to give...at a price.
