Harry and all: sorry to digress here but I've had a few dates with a guy I like a lot, but during our last date, he mentioned watching online porn (I thought he was joking at first...silly me). I got a little upset over this, and he said that he only watches it about once a week.
Not sure I want to have another date with him.
Guys, what do you say....is it that common? Do you do this often, even you are dating, or have a gf?
if it's softcore then no biggie, if it's hardcore then that's up to your own discretion

It's not weird or uncommon for a guy to watch porn (guys like visual stimuli), but it is weird for him to tell somebody he's just had a few dates with. Somebody who is somewhat socially awkward might stupidly let this tidbit of info slip in a conversation, so if he's like that, you might consider giving him a pass.
Another digression: Why is it the only threads I find interesting on letsrun have almost nothing to do with running?

I'm in school in a small town and I love it because I love the outdoors. There's world-class outdoor opportunities within minutes of here as are trail runs. (plus shooting jack-rabbits is a great stress reliever) However, I've lived in cities with 1 million+ people and I love the "pedestrian" atmosphere and the diversity of the inhabitants (especially restaurants).
A town can become a city when they have a population of 5,000 people. You may get away with calling a city of 10,000-15,000 a small town, but more likely it has to have fewer than 5,000 to qualify.
I live in a town of 3,000. I am 20 minutes from cities of 40,000 and 60,000. I am an 45 minutes from a city of 750,000.

I'll be the first vote for the suburbs.
I live in suburban DC. The school system is fantastic, its the second most educated city in America (according to Forbes), there is no crime, plenty of jobs, plenty of wealth, close to a great urban/suburban park to run or walk the dog in, close to the metro, diverse a place as you'll find, close to a great fishery (Potomac river) can't walk to the grocery store but its a 5 minutes drive, an incredible variety of world-class dining is 10-20 minutes away, and I'm 20 minutes away from an airport that has direct flights across the globe. I can even get to legit farm country in 30 minutes or so.
Small towns really lack culture and are far from everything, cities are stifiling. You'll find the exact same mix of jerks in both places so the people are a wash. Some people hate the 'burbs because its fashionable, but many more people choose to live there because all in all, its a pretty damn nice life.

No, but unlike podunk small towns they are close to it.
Everything is a trade off, hoss. I went through the list of positives for the suburbs. If I valued being close to the Smithsonian over everything else, I'd live downtown. And one of the tradeoffs would be I'd have to send my kids to private schools. See how that works? You can do it for everything!
