I found this site to use for the workouts when I was searching around yesterday. It looked so commercial that I had a tough time taking it seriously, but reading this and some other posts makes me think it's legit.

Thanks, for the response. Something strikes me as odd here though. If these workouts are to be done until exhaustion, wouldn't just entering more races do the same thimg? Is that just missing the point of the workouts, by racing instead? Also I read somewhere, that R. Canova has his guys running @ 90-95% on most days, during the speed cycle. Is this a case of, if some is good, more is better?
racing doesnt do it.........most HS and average college runners only run 1/3 of any race distance at this pace then they fall off to somewhere around LT for about 1/2 and then back close to 95% at the end.
It is easier to reproduce that speed for much longer in practice. I have done the billett 30/30 workout at vVo2 and it is way better then a race in regards to improving leg strength, running economy, nuerological stimulations in running muscles and energy depletion/restoration.
