Comparing running and cycling is apples and oranges. My guess is that you will suffer terribly! Just like anything, you need to build up to 120m gradually. Your arms, neck, shoulders, back, and butt will become unbearably painful after 5 hours and it'll probably take you 7-8 hours to ride 120 miles.
I just did my first 60 mile ride yesterday and my partner had a POS bike so it ended up taking over 4 hours to finish. After that I have a new found respect for bikers since most parts of my body hurt in some way.
Paradise Valley is a nice ride - although I wouldn't choose to do it that way again. I was working in Gardiner in one of the warehouses - it was mid-September, so not too many tourists that time of the year - post Labor Day.

I'm in great shape (15:29). I've biked before, go about 15-18mph for 10 miles. Has anyone done something similar?
most of the route is downhill (1000ft to about 200). Anythings I should know?
You can't be serious! Is your long ride only 10 miles?
I'm a 21 minute 5k guy, but I've bike raced a duathlon covering 18 miles at 20mph. My longest ride is 40 miles. I wouldn't even consider riding 120 miles on a bike without several months of buildup.
You will be sore everywhere. Raw meat in places you can't mention on this forum. If you pull a hip flexor, you'll be forced to stop and it could affect your running for months. You could even seriously damage your knees or your boys. I have a friend who went on one of those 100 mile charity rides with no preparation and he was impotent for almost a year. True story.
My advice is go to a bike shop. Tell them what you're planning to do. After they quit laughing, buy a saddle that fits, a quality cycling short, and chamois cream. Upgrade your bike or borrow a bike if your bike is a bargain store brand. Carry a cell phone and enough money to rent a car to get home. -Good luck.
If you've never ridden over 80 miles before, I would really not plan on finishing this ride. I did a 130 miler last summer in California (Death Ride) in very good shape with a long ride over 100 miles and was in absolute agony the last ~20 miles. You can be in fantastic shape but still the task of putting out work for hours and hours on end will surprise your legs unless you've had specific training for that.
20-mile cycling seems easy. On average, You will take an hour forty minutes to complete The distance of 20 miles of cycling. But you have to consider many factors: terrain, bike type in use, weather and overall health before reaching this important milestone. If you are a beginner, it takes some practice, adjustment, and exercise to reach 20 miles in just an hour and forty minutes with road bikes, The distance of 20 miles is not a challenge and you won't cost too much. Hilly terrain and heavy terrain are not only difficult but also take more time to complete.

It will probably take you around 8 hours. Maybe closer to 8.5 hours. You will be stopping a lot more between miles 80 and the finish because you will be tired and your arms, neck, shoulders, hands, and especially your butt will be very sore. It's not that easy unless you have already put in a lot of bike training.
