The fact that you say he is not American is very un-American itself. America is a melting pot united under a number of ideals. Bernard Lagat loves this country, its ideals, and the opportunities it has given him more than the vast majority of other Americans. He's just as American as anyone else here.
Didn't Lagat run for Kenya in the olympics after being a US citizen? Didn't he also test positive for EPO?

The sad fact is in some ways America doesnt deserve someone liek Lagat. he does everything a new immigrant is required to do to better this society (hes a highly qualified college grad too) and he has to listen to this garbage from so called fans.

better to used to the fact that most of the top US distance runners in future years will be of African origin. Meb, Abdi, Lagat, Lomong, etc are just the pioneers and are taking the brunt of it.

Lagat is a great man and I am glad he won, but is simply not American. Gary Reed is Canadian and rules the yanks. We are better than US!

He ran for Kenya because he date of cutizenship meant he did not qualify for the US team.
Not sit down and SLOWLY read this. His A-sample tested positive but his b-sample, which is the same as his a-sample, did not. The lab made a mistake.

What you're trying to say is not more than I can handle, but your spelling on the other hand almost is. If you're saying his A sample and B sample are the same and one tested positive and one tested negative, from what i've learned that is about a 50/50 chance of being positive.
I'd just like to point this out, but a native is no more American than anyone else. Native Americans, Indians, or whatever were not living in the United States of America, they were living in the region in which the nation would be founded. The white people who came over, colonized, and created the US-of-A are more American, in fact. They created it. People who immigrated to colonies and signed the Constitution are much more American than the natives against whom they fought. Location isn't the same as nationality.
Anyway, Lagat is an American. Carry on.
