Lance only weighs 20 pounds more than Tergat. Doesn't Lance race at about 155-160? Surely Tergat doesn't tip 'em at 135-140.

Whoa, comparing a professional body builder with a distance runner is comparing apples and oranges. Coleman looks that big for many reasons, not just low body fat. Those guys completely dehydrate their bodies prior to competitions to remove excess water from their skin, oil their bodies, get dark suntans (if not already black) because muscles look more defined with dark skin, etc. It's quite possible for a marathoner to have as little body fat as a bodybuilder.

Once you get under a certain perctage (I think it was 5%) it can be extremely difficult to get an accurate body fat %. Even hydrostatic weighing has an average error of 2-3%. So you could consistantly test at 2 or 3% but could actually have a body fat of 4-6%.

i do have a scale, but just to see how much water i need to drink after a run sometimes. its always interesting seeing my weight fluxuate between 133 and 141 lbs within a 24 hour timespan.
