I don't know who the best out of CA is. But I would have to add Marion Jones to the list. Since there aren't really any limits to the qualifications. Her multiple gold medal performance in the last Olympics was pretty darn good.

Only PRE of the Oregon runners could be called a world class runner.The rest are either too young and unproven or only decent national runners.So far Kansas is the most impressive state at least for distance.Quality over quantity.

Kansas definitely tops the list of legends -- (Ryun, Cunninhgam, Santee) and then you coult always throw in college graduates like Oerter, but if we are going to go into track legends, then Cali will clean everyone's clock.
