I'm not insulting her. There's no shame in being a high-mileage recreational runner. I simply don't understand why anyone would say that makes her the saviour of U.S. ultramarathoning.
Apparently, you've never been a high-mileage runner, and are impressed by a woman who is. You're probably impressed by Dean K. as well. That's fine, but you're mistaken if you think that either of those people is anywhere close to the elite ranks of the sport.
