Track chick.... I was just trying to get a visual of this. Very nice...... t-shirt and shoes when running.

Do you run really low mileage, go barefoot alot, and get your shoes from Walmart?

You're only a moron for actually corrected grammer on a running forum. I have a New Year's resolution for you: Get a life!
No, you are the one who needs to get a life (and a book on basic grammar). Perhaps that could be your New Year's resolution: learn to read and write.
Well, compared with most other sports running has some of the cheapest websites (letsrun, USATF, RWOL), so maybe it really is the cheapest of the cheap (stingy, chintzy, inferior).
It's only January 1, but for 2007 I'm already in the hole for $1500: air fare, hotels, entry fees (Boston is $101, Chicago is $110, among others). I spose if I didn't race, then yeah it would be cheap. Just the cost of shoes.
I say soccer and running tie as the cheapest.

Though one guy earlier was right, when running isn't a sport, more as transportation it is cheaper, but once you start racing, soccer costs less.
Paying $100+ for ONE race is about as stupid as paying $100+ for ONE pair of shoes.
