I have both the AdiZero CS and the LT (the two shoes you are talking about) They are both asian lasted. If you have average or narrow feet I would try them on before you buy them. I had to size down a 1/2 size from my normal Adidas size and they are still really wide.

Thnx. That's good to know. I have both the RC and the LT. The RC feels better because the upper material over the toe is lighter. The material ont the LT is thicker and makes the shoe feel just slightly small against my big toe. It is kind of strange to make so many shoes on an Asian last, but I guess they are selling enough in Asia to justify it.

if I were a size 9 in the NB RC 550, and size nine in most traditional racing flats, what would I be looking for with the new Adidas Adizero?

Zatopek, what was the race like in Wakayama? Where do you live in Japan, and what are you doing? I`m an American also living in Japan.

It was quite big was 4 races 3K, 5K, 10K and a half marathon and about 9,000 participants. It was very well organized except for the fact that the 5K course was about .2 long. I teach at a university near Osaka. Where are you?

Correction ---There were 4 races

I\'m a Japanese High school English teacher in the JET program. I\'m in Kanazawa, Ishikawa-ken. I was in Osaka two weeks ago...good times. You\'ll have to let me know when there are some more big races where you\'re at. I am running a relay marathon race next week. I got the 8k leg, should be a good time.

I don't know how the 550 fits specifically, but I'd think you'd be the same size in the adizero. They are a little wider in the forefoot, but they really hold the midfoot and heel well. If you were on the narrow side, I'd skip them. Maybe my specs will help:

Streak XC 10 is perfect

Streak Vapor 10 is perfect

NB 205 is a little long, but still narrow

DS Racer 9.5 is perfect

adizero RC 9.5 is perfect

adizero LT 9.5 is just a little short on my bigger foot (but a 10 would be too big)

T4 is snug in 9.5 and too big in 10 - neither fit my foot

The RC probably feels better because it has a much lower heel to toe ratio than the LT.

RC - 18mm/10mm 6.2 oz

LT - 20mm/8mm 7.1 oz

This info came from Adidas. They still haven't given me the specs on the CS, other than they are 7 oz.

thanks stipe. I've got a flat foot, so wider / straighter last is usually better. Curved shape of most shoes doesn't really work out.

There is also a shoe called the adizero Pro, which looks quite low.

I did the Izumo Ekiden a few weeks ago because I'm a former Ivy League boner. I didn't see any shoes that I had have there. Although Asics is my favorite. I got some cool shirts though and a jacket - their gear is better. I'd like to see more of the gear - I'm money with with the Kaynos. Are the Ohanas good for the marathon?

It's just like ordering from any other website except you either need to read Japanese or have someone who does translate it for you. I went the latter route.

As someone else mentioned, you might be able to have one of the internet translation services translate the page.
