    Yes, hosting it the same day as the NY state meet and NXR will likely lower the numbers. This is probably good, because as much as I love Holmdel, it does bottleneck about 1/4 mile in, so may not be great for a crowded race. Hosting it the same day as NXR and NY state meet will ensure it won’t have the depth of talent so it should be fine.

    Great course, the funnel into the woods at the start will be interesting in a regional championship.

    Also not a great course for the race to be on video, its a real XC course, don't think a golf cart can go through some of the woods.

    It can be tight the first 1000 but then you have 2.5 miles of plenty of space to pass. The biggest mistake runners make is getting out too fast worrying about the first 1000. They pay for it later!
