Impossible to say what he'd run out of blocks - like many MD guys, the anaerobic burst of the start would probably be a massive cost and would compromise him a lot, but then again what does he care about his block start as a 1500/3000m guy?
Honestly I don't think he get's much more just running a straight 400m vs a 600m. He might be take another half second or so off in a running start environment so maybe right around 48.0-1?
But 47.1? Zero chance any way he wants to run it.
Btw that's still a very good effort for the world indoor 3000m champion - that sort of workout points at an even better 800m than his 1.44.60, probably closer to 1.44.0
