Go Bruins!!!!! Senior led team takes it!!!! Best out come of a NCAA tournament in a long while. A group (2 - 4 year seniors + 2 - 3 year seniors) stay together for a common goal and succeed. Really impressed by this team and if you didn't watch them for the last 4 years you missed out on a truly Team concept, which is missing in todays college sports.
Congrats UCLA's Women's Basketball team, truly an inspirational run for the ages. and well deserved.

Four of six seniors are transfers. Betts (Stanford), Dugalic (Oregon), Leger-Walker (Washington State) and Kneepkens (Utah). Rice and Jaquez are the only seniors originally recruited by UCLA. Leger Walker missed the last season with injury after transferring, and this was Kneepkens' first season with UCLA.
It's amazing they develop such great chemistry among them so quickly.
It is women’s basketball. Probably a couple dozen NCAA men’s track teams could beat these women’s teams in basketball.
Yeah, no doubt. Funny how Libs used to argue about top women's teams competing against top men's teams hypothetically until enough evidence circulated online to shut them up without taking responsibility.
You guys continuously gripe about how lousy women's basketball is...
And when you aren't doing that... you gripe about transexuals playing women's basketball...

Betts and Dugalic have been with the team for 3 years, both transferred in before 23 season. Betts was a true sophomore and Dugalic got injuried her soph year at Oregon and was granted an red shirt year. so both played 3 years at UCLA. Betts was originally recruited by UCLA. Just made a wrong decision her freshman year. Not like they rebuild every year. Wonder how the (4) 2024-25 freshman feel about leaving now? Sure playing time would have been limited this year, but what a ride and learning experience this year would have been for them. And next year it would have been their show. Funny note UCLA beat all the teams this year that all their last year players transferred too. Tennessee (Baker), North Carolina (Aarnisalo), USC (London), Michigan (Dudley), Oregon (Cain) and Indiana (Socka-Nguemen).
