This will be a fast race. Lots of runners in this race that don't want to wait around. Marcelo,Ollie, Yohanes, Ben, Hunter, and Quinn will all tend to push the race after 3-4 laps. They have raced each other enough that they know they have to go if one of them makes a move. I see this being a really good race. Probably closer than NXN as it's only about two miles and not a 5k. Great field! They are all great runners.

Agreed. I think they will make it l fast and figure it out somehow compared to last year’s jogfest. Olli Horton or Mantecon may take it out if I had to guess, but at the same time I highly doubt the race strings out because of the pace. I reason that there will still be a big pack with one lap to go.
Hope you’re right, an honest race is way better to watch than a sit-and-kick. At last month’s NIN, the 2 mile championship was a bit tactical, first mile came through in high 4:35.
No Braelyn Combe in the mile? Between her win at NB Grand Prix and NIN, she beat most of the girls on that list in Indoors this year. She's not in the 3200 either. I'd have to assume she must be running the 800. Pretty gutsy move for a miler if Shepard, Dumas, Hickey and Barada are coming for that. Anyone have that list?
I'm almost positive that Natalie Dumas is coming out, so that list may be missing more names than just hers.
Dailey is on the list for the 800, the mile and 2-mile. My guess is that she'll just do the 3200, as she's current US #1, and her history of doubling has appeared to be a little too ambitious at times.

Some of these boys are signed up for the invite mile and 3200. Races that are less than hour apart. Some don't even have the standard met in the 3200. Just find it curious how that happens. Not saying I want the job but it definitely takes some kids out of heats they could compete in. Praying the weather holds out so we can see some great racing either way.

It's supposed to rain all of saturday. Bar a miracle, I don't see that holding off. Looks like we might get lucky Friday though.

Why are you assuming that Dumas's name is missing from the 800? She runs lots of events, not just the 800. You can check the list just like everyone else is doing. Dumas is not running the 800 at Arcadia. She's entered in the 300 hurdles and the 200.

As of right now, the forecast says the rain should be easing by Saturday evening, so maybe the mile and 3200 invitational events won't be effected very much.
