The roads and pavements are full of potholes. The government has no money to fix it. It's a well known national scandal. A few weeks ago I tripped and landed on my hip. Also, the roads are busy at all times of day. Very dangerous. Can't run on the trails because it has rained EVERY DAY and they are flooded and in disrepair.
If you use your imagination, parked cars are like hurdles and rain filled potholes are like mini water jumps. Unsafe neighborhoods prepare you for jostling in tactical races. Can't you smell the next generation of 3000m steeplechase champs from the UK on the event horizon? All that wasted potential due to a spectacular lack of vision.Just think of Sir Kerr. Once you the point you can even combine events by doing cross country on the roads.. Ever heard of the seven valleys road race? It's actually potholes who were grown to maturity. The underground also totally underrated for orienteering and trials of terror. Now your turn. Go on. Such fun.
