Doesnt take an average runner to know absolute incredible performances are liely dope inspired. If chebet ran a sub 14 5k then less thsnan hour later ran a sub 4 1500, everyone would be agreeing that she’s doping. Answer that

Allow me to answer that;
Chebet is a East African from Kenya and kelly hodges is the lilly-white hype golden child.
It’s fine to be suspicious when it’s stellar performance after stellar performance.
The clearest indicator that this era is clouded with drugs: so many of these runners avoid a bad race, at every meet.
This isn’t directed at Keely, I hope she’s clean. Just general lack of trust in these races, I’m not even surprised by a result anymore. 2:08 women’s marathon? Sure I guess it’s coming.
Some of you would be shocked what you can buy on telegram RIGHT NOW with no identity verification or regulated process. Menus of the classics, as well as experimentals that are unlikely to pop.
It’s so easy that non athletes are doping as a hobby. I have a tech bro coworker that’s currently on at least 5 different peptides, some clearly dangerous, and he’s not flipping them locally. He isn’t alone. You think corrupted coaches have less incentive and access? This guy is just trying to be hot and less of an idiot. He wouldn’t fail a test either at least 90% of the time. Designing around a testing window has never been easier.
I don't think there is too much evidence she is doping, other than the assumption all top athletes are.
She's been consistently world class for years -- there has been no sudden jump. It's not like Mo Farah who went from no making major finals to teaming up with Alberto Salazar in his 30s and becoming unbeatable.
Keely was AMAZING at the World Indoors, but that shouldn't come as a shock, considering she set the WR 4 weeks ago.
She came into the Champs as the fastest ever indoors at 800m, backed up with a really good 400m time (51.49....ranked 28th this year) that clearly could be faster had she another race or two.
We've seen some amazing performances from NCAA athletes who have been made to run multiple events in one day, and they're not even the best ever. Keely IS.
I race very hard ill have you know. Its not uncommon knowledge that your going to be tired after racing an all out 800m less than an hour before. 😛 if clean this just makws it an even more incredible feat
have u never ran a 4x400m relay at a club meet after doing your main race? she will have done this all her life in england. running for a dreadful GB team, way out the back in lane 1 with no pressure, it was no surprise she was able to run so fast
Gb ran in a very strange order. Almost everyone agrees getting to the 200 break first is virtual in the indoor 400. In the relay it also means even if you blow up the other teams have to pass and change over in other lanes. GB has Dina run. A 60m runner with a great start. Also, the fastest 200m runner they have ever had on an indoor 400 leg and they don’t have her run leg 1. It’s great Keely ran 50.1 and never had to run a step more than 400m but it would have been good to see her actually race people.
The post was centered around how incredible she is guys. But she is obviously going to be tired from 2 all out efforts within an hour. Like literally any athlete will tell you that even running 2 time trials in back to back days leaves them tired - any relay athlete would day so. Can’t be that hard to compute ☹️. All that said she is so so incredible and imma big fan, hence i really hope she is clean
What? There are literally hundreds of high school boys that run this double all the time. Many of them in the same or faster times.
I hope you are wrong. But I bet all global medal winners are on the juice - clean runners can't beat all those talented dopers. Having said that, it's unfair to single out Keely. Just enjoy her dominant win in an even level playing field.
Is Cooper included in that aspersion? Since we all know of many HSer's who dope, he can't be excluded can he? Or is it that he is American. I don't know if Keely or any top runner is doping, but I also don't go to that as an immediate explanation for performance. Since I have coached a kid who ran 1.47 for 800m in HS off very little training (not the talent of a Cooper of course), I see what talent can do, I have also coached kids on the distance side who ran very fast because they handled a lot of work. I don't suspect any of them, unlike the many cynics on this site (who have obviously never coached National champions, let alone world class athletes and yes I have). If the doping system isn't working I also don't worry about that as I have no input into how it is organized, but have to trust the system (as much as I trust any judicial system). Since I am not prepared to change said system, just like I won't/can't change the political system that seems to be broken to me, I learn to live within the systems that exist and do the best that I can. The only other option is the give up on everything and just kill myself (not an option I choose).
Its the optimized Bi-Carb, its changed the game for Middle Distance
Can we stop now with the bicarb nonsense? It has been used for YEARS, like, DECADES. It is not a new thing!
What IS new (relatively speaking) is super shoes. That, coupled with improved technology & track surfaces, means that super talented athletes nowadays have an advantage over athletes from not that long ago. Give Kratochvilova the same shoes & track as Keely & God forbid, the 800m WR would be 1:52x
That is also why, for example, Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce first broke 10.7 and got into the 10.6s aged bloody 35! That was why Shericka Jackson suddenly jumped to 21.4s, it is why so many women are in the 48s over 400m now.....it was nothing to do with mommy power, or being a later developer, it was because super shoes for the track finally caught up with road racing shoes.

Very different physiological demands for an 800m and a 400m shortly afterwards, versus what you’re suggesting.
