Nikki is to transgenders as Rachel Dolezal is to black people. You can think you are whatever you want, but please don't co-opt the movement, because when the real struggle happens, you are not the one who suffers.
No one is forcing Nikki to forfeit their driver's license. No one is denying Nikki use of the female restroom. No one is banning Nikki from racing against biological females. While their self-identified, non-binary designation fits the definition of transgender, it's not the typical presentation and they do not experience what other transgenders experience.
Nikki is not on anyone's target list to be discriminated against, all of their issues are self manufactured. I distinctly remember when WA said they would be banning transgenders from competition and someone was trolling them on IG, they bragged that they would still be running, and it would be on NBC at whatever time and that the announcers would be getting their pronouns correct. Good for them, but how does that fit with what other transgenders are experiencing. Nice flex but totally tone deaf. That's like a 1960s Rachel Dolezal flexing that she can walk into any bathroom she wants to, sit anywhere on any bus and drink from whatever water fountain she chooses. Well yes, of course you can.
The I'm transgender and oppressed doesn't work and it's tiresome. Accidentally referring to them as "her" or "she" is not misgendering, it's likely just a mistake. I don't know how many times I had to delete "her" in writing this. I hear seasoned commentators mutilate Jane Hedengren's name over and over again and I've never once heard her complain about it, much less throw a fit. Congrats on the bronze, but you really need to chill. You are doing nothing to actually help the transgender community by cosplaying as one. Poland bans same sex marriage and if you really felt so strongly you could have used your platform to boycott. You didn't do that, and that's your choice, but don't act as if you are the perfect little social justice warrior and then have the nerve to shame others when they make a simple mistake.

You’re not part of the movement. There are many giveaways that you’re just pretending to be. I won’t tell you what they are because I don’t want to help you improve your antics. Nobody who is really part of the movement would write what you did.

Hiltz competes fairly but clearly receives plenty of hate for being trans. There are flaws all around and we are still in the hate-all-you-want Era. Wishing you well.
Professional announcers can't say Hedengren! It's fairly remarkable.
I am teaching my kids to accept others. They struggle a bit with Hocker's ponytail, but we persevere.

If this is true (probably isn’t), then it will be interesting to have your take:
1) are you a trans woman or trans man
2) I saw non binary races in the Pennsylvania meet where Dolan got his standard. Do you think trans should run in these events or is that another thing?
3) I see that once trans women start taking hormones, they start to be “terrible” at anything track and field. Bigger bones, no power. Do you think that trans will ever do well in women competition or they should participate in non binary instead.

What is THE movement? The transtrender movement? "Let's be 100% real" might be a transmedicalist. (I have no idea. But the poster's argument looks very similar to a typical transmedicalist criticism of nonbinary people.) And no transtrender writes like that, for sure.
No extra testosterone in her body or she couldn’t compete in the women’s division. She’ll have to wait until retirement to take hormones and have bottom surgery.
