Why are we not allowed to discuss the fact that D3 natties is tainted by a doper?
The thread, started by LetsRun staff and featuring a story THEY wrote, is now deleted. We deserve to know why. Legal threats from the family of the alleged doper?

I don't see comments like this getting removed, but anything mentioning pre-planned interference or elbows, shoulders, etc. are getting nuked by LR. So if folks can avoid that to keep this thread from getting fully locked, that'd be great.
I get folks want to talk about it, but I wanted to create this thread because there are hundreds of other athletes competing who don't have credible doping allegations against them. I think it's a disservice to ONLY focus on one thing.

I get that and totally agree that the focus should be on the other athletes doing things the right way. Unfortunately, this is a direct result of a massive NCAA clean athlete policy failure. The resulting focus on Seth is on them, and is the exact reason we need them to be better going forward. That only happens with pressure imo.
This is the logical endpoint from the NCAA allowing D3 to be the loophole dumping ground for failed doping D1 athletes. As a former D3 guy, it’s really sad to see
yeah I'm with you. Also as a former D3 guy who had to run 110 mile weeks just to scrape a spot at nationals it's pretty f-ing insulting. But who knows, maybe this forces NCAA to pay attention. Or they do nothing and Rowan gets another half dozen transfers next year since they've made their stance on the issue quite clear.
Also I'm sure not a coincidence Ceth Slevenger decided not to race the mile, where he had the best odds of getting crushed.
1) Rojo/Wejo/John, what in the world is going on with the thread on SC getting deleted? It is arguably one of the hottest topics in distance running, you wrote an expose, there are significant implications across ALL divisions, and you delete the thread?! My best guess is you got sued, but what is the point of running this message board and fighting for clean sport if you are going to back down when the going gets tough? As the biggest running outlet on the Internet, it is you who can actually make a difference in this case and bring some consequences to this guy.
2) Relatedly, why is this thread locked? I understand the implications of allowing free discourse on D3 running given the above, but seriously? If this same situation existed at the D1 level, would the D1 Indoor Nationals Thread be locked?
SC gets suspended with no explanation…all we can do is speculate (though it looks like doping related.)
SC thread gets deleted with no explanation…all we can do is speculate (though I’d guess legal action threatened when people were suggesting ways to disrupt the race.)
I know my personal perspective on the matter but there's a whole thread to discuss that situation. Tried to keep this one focused on the actual event.
Anyway, men's team scores if everyone competes exactly as their seed (including ties):
1. UWL - 91
2. Oshkosh - 80.5
3. Rowan - 78
Should be an exciting weekend!
Looks like the first event has been scored with Oshkosh starting the day off hot with 13 points from 1st place Gavin Fritsch & 6th place Bryce Hale in the weight throw matching their SB / seed marks.
Bit of a flip for UWL, their 3rd seed Logan Powers scored 12th and their 12th seed Anthony Staryszak scored 4th.
Oshkosh goes 2 for 2 with national champions in Weight Throw and now Long Jump.
Another 14 points for them from 1st place Joshua Rivers (1st seed) & 5th place Dylan Doss (8th seed).
Seems like both Oshkosh (5th seed) and Rowan (3rd seed) each had one of their jumpers DNS, but Rowan still managed to score 3 points from 6th place Bright John (12th seed).
UWL Luke Schroeder (1st seed) moves onto the 60H finals, followed by two out of the three Rowan hurdlers Jason Agyemang (2nd seed) & Kwaku Nkrumah (3rd seed).
Will be interesting to see who comes out on top in the finals tomorrow, Schroeder has the top time this year at 7.67 while Agyemang is the returning national champion with a 7.76 last year but only 7.87 this season.

Only Oshkosh Dylan Doss (1st Seed) moving onto the 60m finals tomorrow from the three teams.
Neither of UWL's two 60m runners hit a qualifier (4-way tie for 5th? & 3-way tie for 21st? seeds), Rowan's 60m runner (21st? seed) fails to qualify, and Oshkosh's two other runners also failed to qualify (5th? seed & 13th seed).
Oshkosh Davian Willems 0.01s off of qualifying on time.

Mile prelims should be interesting with how fast most of the guys ran at Boston. I expect it'll be more of a tactical race but it's always a treat to see someone get under 4 mins
I'd love for the meet record to go down (4:02.62) in the finals but Lyndacker has a nasty kick so I don't think he's going to be motivated to take it out hard.
Maybe Rabbit Barnes will live up to his name

Talk about a conveniently placed freshman in a field of upperclassmen runner hahaha. Go Rabbit Barnes!
Edit: TFRRS indoor qualifying list & the live results show him as a freshman but it seems like he's actually a senior.
