it's got to be an act, right? at least to some degree....
I’m starting to think maybe. He did smirk mid interview. Someone posted in another thread about him that he knows him personally and he’s different in person/ very nice guys. Don’t put too much weight in that as it was anonymous and who knows if the poster actually knows him. But he definitely smirks in the interview which leads me to believe it might be somewhat an act. Why he would run with this bit? No idea. But it could be one
Jeff Mylinski is Director of Championship for the NCAA Track and Field. He is the one who called Villanova and said that Langdon's performance wouldn't count. If its a pro meet there has to be 10 events and if there isn't then it's not a countable meet for qualifying.

I’m here. That race didn’t count because there we’re not enough college runners. You got a problem with that? see the rulebook. Take that smoke and blow it where the sun don’t shine. fool.

The same thing happened at The Ten (Sound Running). The NCAA often hurts U.S. distance running more than it helps. Just because times are getting faster doesn’t mean the system is good for long-term development. Too many top high school athletes spend 4–6 critical years in the NCAA over-racing through conference schedules, chasing points, and often working within programs that aren’t built for world class progression. Instead of developing toward World Championship or Olympic level, they get ground down before they ever reach their peak.

Jeffrey’s Mum here. I want to sincerely apologize for his behavior. Jeffrey has had a long-standing sensitivity to the name “Marco” that goes back to when he was very young. Even as a child, simple things like kids playing “Marco Polo” would upset him and trigger an emotional reaction. This has been an ongoing issue for him, and it’s something we’ve been actively working to address.
Please know that his reactions are not meant to be personal or disrespectful. He is currently in therapy, where he is getting support to better manage his emotions and responses in situations like this. We are hopeful that, with time and continued progress, he will improve. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and compassion as he continues to work through this.
Correct me if I’m wrong but he wants all the smoke and respects other people who want all the smoke.
You got it. I want all the smoke too. How do I get all the smoke?
I'm also interested in acquiring 100% of the available smoke. Can someone point me in the direction of the aforementioned smoke and provide some tips on how to best obtain it?

Not sure who you are buddy but knock it off. I AM JEFF and this identity theft is not going to be tolerated. You are on my list more than Marco. Don't make me send you to the island. I AM JEFF.

Oh no you’re not. I’m Jeff Mylinski and, as previously reported, I’m NOT afraid of that dwarf unless he’s lost his pot of gold during a full moon.

This specific rule was debated and voted on at the National Coaches Convention this year. There was a proposal to change the rule but the coaches voted overwhelmingly to KEEP this rule.
Marcus O'Sullivan can't be bothered to show up to the convention and thus he doesn't know the rules. He should have known it anyway, it's been a rule for forever.
This is not Jeff's fault, it's Marcus' fault.
By the way Marco should have been disqualified. The officials dropped the ball.
