GST is bankrupt. If they go chapter 7 and liquidate, everyone lining up to say "you have to pay me first or there will be no GST" is going to get nothing. And that is exactly where this is headed unless everyone comes to the table and negotiates deals with the bankruptcy trustee and debtor in possession to let GST reorganize. Getting your debt paid in full before you let the debtor reorganize is simply not an option when a business is in bankruptcy. And the complaints about GST mismanaging, not telling people they were circling the drain, etc. are nothing new in the world of businesses that end up seeking bankruptcy protection and will not let anyone get special treatment from the bankruptcy proceeding.
If everyone wants GST to have another shot, they need to grow up and negotiate with the bankruptcy trustee to let GST have a "fresh start". That will mean taking a big haircut on what they are owed, but it also provides an opportunity to make money going forward if GST learns from its failures and runs a tighter ship this time. But if everyone wants to play the "I won't do business with GST unless I get paid first", then GST is going to convert to Chap 7. And everyone who is wanting to be paid 100% will get nothing once GST liquidates.
