Right. Right. You just happen to show up when your name is called. Right.
This video literally had me in tears from laughing so hard.
It's funny on so many levels. The goofy concept, the dramatic music in the opening, the guy's disheveled appearance making it look like he's a househusband (the LRC dream!), the weird pacing around his home, his claim that what he's doing is totally normal and not crazy immediately followed by him talking about how tedious it was to star his target's segments and "only" starring 30 or 40 of them, him going out to beat his target's segments when it's dark out, making the video with his baby in the background, and his target's snarky response. Hilarious!
I definitely want this to be a series. Give us vignettes of him going after segments, and don't just stop at his current target. He should rebrand himself as The Strava Menace and go after other KOMs in the area. Strike fear in the hearts of every SoCal KOM!
There are petty people and really petty people.
I really like the part where he says "this is normal, I'm not going all over the place to break his records."
Let him have his Strava glory. When your times chump him in races all year, no one but hobby joggers will care.
Honestly you are lucky my wife hasn't hunted you down. I'll show her this and she just might!
Hobby joggers get so upset over this kind of thing.

Mind you, I have never talked to this guy in my life and he says we are racing rivals. Wtf? Has this ever happened to any of you? I had to go private on Strava to protect myself. This is clearly harassment as he states that he is happy that I am now getting bombarded with Strava emails.
This is tier 1 awesome sauce. So petty yet so typical for a Strava warrior to get pissed about.
Me and my college buds used to go at it on Strava segments during our summer/ winter down time. At a super highlevel of pettiness like this.
I turned off Strava notifications a long time ago. It really isn’t that important if someone takes one of your koms. No reason for your phone to be blowing up.
It is pretty funny that some people target them like races.

Sounds like an incredibly cool guy!
Your stalker has the same deformed head shape as Tyler Robinson. Be careful. Physiognomy is real.
He doesn’t mention his rival by name in the video so you could be making this up
go get a bike OP, we know you aren't doing it with the feet.
tbf this dude looks fast af... reminds me of a guy I knew that was a good collegiate steepler, like regional or maybe ncaaQ and went on to finish in top 20 or just outside in OTQ in the marathon.... def was gunning for time/place and beat a number of guys that were trying to qualify but still a fast dude
i also believe that OP is the same dude making the video looking for followers and whatnot

Yeah, but when is Rothfuss going to finish the trilogy?
I dunno, I doubt it. I think I know who the OP is that this guy is talking about. After he said “used to live in Santa Barbara” and “considers himself a pro but he really just works in sports marketing for Strava” it helped narrow it down to one guy with the initials JS (not coach JS from the boards here) who used to have a public Strava but now has it set to private. Sorry you have to deal with this JS! The “pro” designation when you’re a 1:13/2:30s guy who is usually an also-ran on the trails really dos put a target on your back though!
