All these age group records show mental inability to part from the sport and move to a position of a coach / ambassador / whatever else. It's like Madona, getting countless surgeries to stay on stage not knowing when it's enough.

Mark Kiptoo ran 2:08 at age 48. He holds the m45 wr marathon
Thanks for this correction, Kiptoo’s record didn’t appear on the world masters athletics record list. Amazing is that he ran 3x 2:09 aged 45+ (born 1976):
