Not convincing from Arop, so close to being a disaster.

Arop has been cooked for like 3 months lol
Arop playing with fire in that heat. Last qualifying spot, .04 ahead of 4th.
Lutkenhaus up next
Moment of truth for Cooper. Let’s go .

Did Hangura did the Hocker?
Yes he did. Did the officials see it?
close shave for arop but on replay it looked like he just got unlucky. didnt look uncomfortable or anything.
attoui though… i’ve felt that he’s gonna pull a medal ever since he won that diamond league earlier this year.

He’s run faster before Worlds/Olympics than any other year. Ive been pushing back against the narrative that he’s not going to do well here for the last month. That was a little nerve for sure but he realized the Kenyan in front of him was tiring.
He didn’t want to pull a Hocker so he decided to go way way way wide. It could have cost him but he had more in the tank. I can’t believe he’d only push on the gas to get in by 0.04 but all you have to do is survive.
Let's go Cooper!
3 Q + 3 q is brutal for the 800 prelims, I expected more like 3 Q + 6 q
just sit in the back and Dave Wottle it.
I think Arop had more in the tank, he just ran like half in the race in Lane 2 and 3
LET'S GO YULIMAR!
Lukenhaus tactics absolutely awful
Yikes, that was a terrible race for him
Coop going the long way
Lutkenhaus found out that running in lane 3 the whole race is not good.
Lutkenhaus didn't even seem to try.
That was a major let down. He’s got some work to do. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a wore tactical race. With that kick, just run in the back and roll the last 200. Instead he ran the first 700 entirely in lane 2 or 3.
Coop running a long race here... lets see it
Yikes. Not good.
