I was in Chicago last weekend for a concert. We stayed west of the city and traveled the orange line to get in and out of the city. We drove around the south side a fair amount. Holy smokes. Some of those areas look like third world countries. I’ve been in a lot of bad areas in a lot of cities, and that area was straight up scary af. Worst I’ve seen in the US. Anyone who acts like it isn’t that bad has either never been there or is just a liar. I’m not sure exactly what the right answer is, but I’d say send the boys in. Nothing else has worked, obviously.

Damn straight. Southside chicago is a disgrace. Killings every weekend, usually Loser gang members but sometimes innocents get in the crossfire. The mayor or governor aren't doing anything. Mainstream media silent. Politicians don't care, not an election year. BLM is living the good life now thanks to donations, no time for that. Action is needed.
