If one is genuinely interest in his coaching services (or prepared to pretend as if they are), why not just reach out to him to ask when and where there times occurred? An email could provide you an answer within a few minutes.
It especially irritates me when people who are actually quite fast lie about their times. If he ran a 24:18 8k in college XC, he has no reason to lie.
He thinks he is a professional runner. Yes. He is very fast. He can destroy most road races. Even ones with small prize money. But still not fast enough to be a pro.
Former Chico State alumnus. Decent runner in Division 2, but I don't see him ever running 13:31/28:00 as stated in his coaching bio page. Those indiscretions could hurt his reputation in the future. Nowadays everything is verifiable.
Is he a Filipino ethnicity? He doesn't look it. He wants to represent them in Olympics.

Other people on this thread have convinced me otherwise. Left some comments on his YT and he deleted em :/
So he ran those times in the dreamscape. Dream times are just as real as real times, only wada can't enter your dreams to test. Many Kenyans train there.

He could very well be Phil-American, one parent (typically the mother) married to an American. There are many Filipinos who resemble Jason Intravaia. We call them "Mestizos," descendants of the Spanish who colonized the Philippines.
I'm in the Philippines now. He can run 3:55/1500, that's fast enough to run in the SEA Games, South East Asian Games. His 14:15/5000, and 8:07/3000 might even be Filipino national records, which I'll check later.
Btw, Basketball 🏀 is really the only sport that counts in the Philippines.
He didn't have to lie. He's good enough in the eyes of most. The question is, "can he coach?"
no he's not lying, he got mattlondon to hand time them and as we know there is a margin of error when hand timing
The irony is that hobby joggers he'll coach have no idea of the differences between 13:31/28:00, and Jason's actual bests of 14:15/30:48. He lied about his times, but there was no need to lie. Hobby joggers will respect anyone who can run a sub 20:00/5km.
His reputation is on the line here, and it's a pity, because 3:55/8:07/14:15 are still very respectable times, and easily fast enough for coaching credibility. Lying was a mistake.
In my book, Jason should retract his lies, admit his greed in boosting his status, and move on from there.
Yes, it's a bizarre thing to lie about given no one who would care that much about his times would ever sign up for his coaching services.

Past era: Just checked, 13:58 was the Filipino 5000 record by Eduardo Buenavista, all 5.0ft of him (1.52cm!). That was around 2002.
Present era: Yacine Guermali is the fastest Filipino at 1500, 3:41.75, and 5000 13:33.13. Guermali is US based, and a Phil/Am, one parent American, other Filipino.
Philippines marathon record, 2:18:44, Eduardo Buenavista, 2004, Beppu, Japan. Pure Filipino, from South Cotobato.
I'm based in the Philippines a few weeks per year. Distance running is tough here. Tropical humidity, crowded roads, pollution.
Basketball 🏀 is King here, even though most Pinoys are only around 5.3ft tall.
Can back up the claims that he jumps from club to club and embellishes times. He did that to get in Payton Jordan a few years ago. He's bought followers on Instagram and Strava of all places.
But he does have some marks:
13:48 5k road race in 2024. You'd need to find the course to verify the length, but this time is in line with sub-29 10k.
Haters will say it’s fake. 10K TT | Saturday, Dec 7, 2024 Conditions: 61 degrees, perfect. Notes: Ish Benhamida pacing on bike. Abbas Benhamida, Jack Williams, & Jacob Pancoast in attendance. Splits 1) 70.0 2) 69.9 3) 70.1 4)...
His WA page says he has run 8:07, 14:15, 30:48 and 3:55 for 15 and 4:11 mile.
The funny thing is, those aren't even half-bad PRs. Especially if hes doing amateur coaching the average person isn't gonna think that theres too much of a difference between a 13:31 and a 14:15. It all just sounds fast to them. Just strange to lie - why 13:31 specifically?
If looking for a very good online running coach you should be in contact with the wizard man.He coached me to pb's all the time.Great and honest guy.He was a national elite runner back in the -80s. He ran 1:58 800m, 8:20 3000m , 14:20 5000m, 29:51 10000m , half 66 min and marathon 2:22, all times proved.
