I agree with you and think it is fine if he wants to move on with his life. But as the NXN champion and a "public persona" in the running community, it would be nice/normal to just let his fans know what is up. It isn't like people are hounding him or hating on him, we just are curious.
He never wanted to be a “public persona.” He’s not the one with a YouTube channel. it’s not his responsibility to keep random people on the internet up to date with his personal life
Not listed on the tfrrs roster anymore. He was listed for XC and indoor but not outdoor, however he wasn't on the indoor or outdoor rosters last year as well.

I remember it said he was at The King’s College of tfrrs. No idea what that was about
he had an IT band injury in high school - even for a hobby jogger they can flare up and set you back, but with the amount of mileage they do at NAU he has to be super careful. wouldn't surprise me if they shut him down completely for a year and now he's just trying to slowly build up his mileage. he might be a long ways from being able to compete for them.
Aaron Sahlman never has a IT injury he made that up. Aaron his senior year said he tore his IT and raced on it a few weeks later. This is what he does
No. I have no idea how you are getting 22 upvotes for that comment. He was injured his senior year and did run on that injury, making it worse, and didn't break 4 even though with a 1:48 and NXN championship, there was no way that he wasn't in shape to break 4 at some point his senior year. Mike Smith was said to be furious about him racing on the IT band injury.

So pretty much I had the same dilemma except I’m a distance/mid distance runner who never runs anything shorter than the 800 and longer than the mile (during track). I had dragonfly’s last year and they were great, but this year I decided to get the victory’s. They kick ass, and they can also be super aggressive so they would be good for the 400 as well as the 800. I wouldn’t recommend the dragonfly’s for anything less than 800.
He sure does! He grew up in a MAGA home and turned into a MAGA himself, posting pro Trump sh*t on IG 🤣
Shouldn't you be over at Bluesky, with the all people who don't realize that they're a shrinking minority, and America is so much different than you think, that Trump like Putin are relative moderates and the future replacements will be even more Right.
he ran the George Kyte Classic in Flagstaff today wearing the NAU jersey. I'm here and watched it live. He ran slower than his team, clearly he's still building and was basically getting in a workout - I stood by Cornfield and heard him telling Sahlman 'you're good' and not to push too hard. he ran behind Theo Quax for most of it, like Theo was pacing him.

Fun fact: both of Cornfield’s younger brothers competed against Sahlman at NXN 2022.
And NAU’s top guy yesterday (Washburn) also competed against Sahlman at NXN 2022, and missed All-American by 1 spot

Thanks for the update Cornfield! Nice to see you're still posting on letsrun after the big promotion.

Is that NAU's full team, minus Collin? Also is THAT Arizona's real team? Good to see Aaron back in the mix
