Oh i think he can do it,although he hasnt yet. Problem is,he's a brilliant 1500/3k runner,but he might conk out a bit,when going for a 5000 world record. He doesnt conk out in "slow " championship races and usually always wins,but it might be different if he runs at world record pace. I can just imagine him running all out at 12.25 pace,and completely dying towards the end.

Except Jakob had voiced in intention in setting every WR from the 1500m to the marathon. Mo did not care about chasing times, Jakob does. When did he get "exposed" as a pretender lol.

12:48.45 was run in early 2021, he has not had a fast race since.
