Track? Road? Are you tapering? I would say yes to sub 16. If you don’t break 16 you probably just need to taper for the next one to get under.

Unfortunately, my goal 5k was cancelled due to poor weather, but I ran a road mile today in 4:38 (2:28/2:10 split, so could have most likely gone faster). I think this validates me being in sub 16 or close shape, but it's time to train for a marathon (NYC). I'll definitely get sub 16 in 2025 though, just a matter of time.
That's faster than I can run a mile and I ran a 15:50 5k a few weeks ago, so I'd be pretty confident if I were you. Good luck with the marathon!
