Sunday Morning Coming Down-

Well, I woke up Sunday morning

With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt.

And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad,

So I had one more for dessert.

Then I fumbled in my closet through my clothes

I don't know what show it was - and it was, to me, anyways, a bizzare and incongruous scene - but Frankie Lane was singing at the Playboy mansion, with Hugh Hefner looking on. Frankie Lane sings "This Time You Gave Me A Mountain", which is a song about a man whose wife leaves and takes the baby boy. One of the Playboy bunnies starts crying. And I remember wondering what man, what woman was that song reminding her of.

Another sad song is "Softly", supposedly written by a man on his death bed to his wife who had been sitting by his side for three days and nights, who went to sleep, and as she slept, the man picked up a pen and paper and wrote:
