Anyone know if Robby is racing anymore this outdoor season? Was enjoying following his comeback on Strava but he went dark a few weeks ago. Ran 1:51 and 3:51 in April, then 3:45 in early May closing in 57ish. Seemed like he was progressing nicely, was hoping maybe he'd get in a fast race and sneak into the Trials.
That ship has sailed. He’s not even pacing anymore except his wife and her little teammates. He’s coaching hobbyjoggers in his new career. Wifie will join him in the fall since she’s not exactly equipped to do much else either. So much for college educations.

As the detector of insane posters, I confirm that John Wesley Harding is correct about the existence of a person who constantly posts negative crap about Robby and Josette Andrews using multiple anonymous accounts.
This poster is right up there with the poster who constantly writes garbage about Los Angeles, artificial intelligence, track meet attendance, Citius Mag, unpaid photographers, etc. as the most insane posters on LetsRun.
My conservative estimate is that 5 posts on this thread were made by the same poster, although I would not be surprised if this whack job submitted the the thread's original post to provide an avenue for the subsequent garbage replies.
You can say that again. It's really concerning how obsessed this poster is with The Andrews and makes a comment for everything with different anonymous accounts back to back. The obsession is getting to be a little much.

One of my favorite runners of all-time. The expressions of happiness on his face when he won - you couldn't help but love him. Top 1% talent, amazing kick, good tactics, NCAA Champ, Olympian.
My favorite race of his is that 2010 NCAA Indoor 800m he won as a freshman, nipping Wheating at the line after being dead last for most of the race, pulling a Dave Wottle so to speak.
The guy was never a poor sport. And I don't think he deserves any shade whatsoever. He always seemed like a great person.
I remember trying to do a few of his workouts a decade ago and realizing the incredible speed he had compared to myself - who is simply NOT talented like he is. Nonetheless, I was inspired to try a few 800m runner workouts because of him because I just wanted to understand what he puts himself through.
Whatever he's doing, or decides to do, let be known that he achieved a lot and his career and it's something he can 100% be proud of.

3:34, 1:44, ncaa champ, Olympian. Pretty darn good career. Hope he enjoys whatever he does next
