Thanks a lot Jon. You really channel the spirit of the great sports journalists of years past, all too few today sadly.

Why is road racing barely covered by Gault or other staff? You focus on track, WMM and some cross country.

I can't think of anyone more knowledgeable about the sport than Jon. As a journalist myself, I look up to him. Top notch!

while not being american, USA is my favorite track country by far, as my home country is garbage in that the country sports admin is the ultimate lot of garbage.
my fav is centro bossing the 1500 OG for gold.
out running mcdaddy from the front.
next after that is john walker 1500 in 1976. outrunning van dame who was in 142 shape over 800m. in a slow race no less. at which point walker was on his B game due to an improper build up.
i guess wottle in the 800 in 72 is right up there running the completely even pace. where everyone came back .. as he "kicked" to win at the wire.
Truth: The 2016 Olympic final in the 1500m was the most tense and exciting race I have ever had the pleasure to watch. A true masterclass in tactical racing, this race will be studied by elite runners for decades (maybe longer!).
Congrats JG!!!! Hope y'all give him a nice bonus. What ever happened to this tip jar?!
Congrats JG. I like the podcast with the 2 Brojos and JG. Jonathan keeps it the pod on topic, Weldon shares good insight and Rojo makes wild yet entertaining claims or predictions. It’s a really good mix.
I hope the site makes enough to pay Jonathan well. I recommend the SC membership for the T-shirt and podcast alone. I also got my wife a free drink at the Marathon OT meet up since I don’t imbibe anymore. Weldon and JG were great hosts. Cheers to another 10 years.
Congrats Jono. Enjoyed our chats on running and beers in Bathurst.
ROJO and WEJO made a great decision hiring you JG. I thoroughly enjoy your coverage of our sport and the weekly podcasts. I hope to meet you in Eugene this weekend as I make my first pilgrimage to Tracktown USA.
JG gonna cash on this sudden interest from the ladies of LRC? I always knew he could do better than jamin.

He's been a HUGE addition to the team and are very thankful to have him!!
Jonathan shares his memories of his first LetsRun.com trip to the Pre Classic 10 years ago and what it was like to have his first journalism job:
Jonathan counts down the 10 favorite races he's covered in person for Letsrun:
Feel free to share your favorite Jonathan Gault memories as well. Or better yet, show your appreciation and sign up for the Supporter's Club this week as he gets 100% of every sign up this week as a thank-you bonus.
(1) "He's been a HUGE addition to the team and are very thankful to have him!!" Gault are thankful to have himself?

Wow. Two strikes in ten years sounds pretty good to me.
Love JG, really makes the site and podcast seem more legitimate and not full on Skip Bayless/Stephen A Smith if Rojo had full on rants every chance he got lol. Love rojo too tho
Congrats JG
