This makes the Trials even more interesting. Lyles and Knighton can't slip up with Lindsey and Bednarek hungry and Coleman claiming to want the double too.
Definitely. He is running the best times of his career now.

The Doha weather is shocking over the coming weeks, never ceases to amaze me just how hot some cities get.
Enjoying the meet so far.

He had some unimpressive results last year until USAs so he might be able to turn it on when it matters. We shall see.

Please reread. I said until USAs. He didn't break 45 until then. Everything after was impressive.
Women's 1500m looking fast. Hailu way out in front though.
Yikes... is she going to fade or hold on?
That's a very hard way to run a 4:00 1500, but she pulled it off.
Wow... that was crazy. Very uneven.
Hull physically exerting dominance in the second pack. Looked like she literally made Welteji quit in frustration after she blocked a pass aggressively. Rarely see that.
Quite an unusual race there, Welteji stepping off with a lap to go causing some problems but Hailu hanging on. Nice one by Hull
Wow that was some ballsy leading. Great race by Jess Hull, stayed very calm and seems to be incredibly consistent through the season

Even with 1.7+ wind 19.67 is very fast at this point. He definitely could challenge Lyles at the trials
As the leader of the "Noah Lyles will never win Olympic gold" bold predictions club, I don't think 19.67 with a big tail wind scares Lyles.
Are the lane draws for the mid-d/distance races here random? Seems unusual to not see the best athletes on the outside
Elsabet Amare ran 15:54 as a 13-year-old in 2022
Wow, 10 of 17 W 5K are teens according to Swaangard including 1 - 15 year old!

American men regularly now run sub 13 5k and sun 27 10k but marathons stuck at 2:07. What gives?
